Focused weight-care platform with separate treatment purchases

# MEDVi review

MEDVi belongs on a weight-care shortlist when it adds useful prescribing contact at an affordable continuing price. Its current semaglutide promotion is $99 for month one and $199 for refills; branded options have a separate membership and medicine bill. I would choose for that defined service, with the refund conflict resolved, rather than for the platform’s broad longevity language.

## A useful next step?

Consider the purpose, the care relationship and the full commitment.

Visit MEDVi↗Official provider website. No affiliate relationship is currently listed.

## A reason to consider it

Someone who can identify the additional clinical contact and confirm its recurring cost.

- Compound and branded options have distinct purchase descriptions.

- The portal brings check-ins and care management together.

- Independent prescriber and platform roles are described in the terms.

## What deserves scrutiny

A buyer expecting comprehensive preventive medicine or an unconditional results guarantee.

- Introductory pricing does not establish the whole treatment bill.

- Dietitian eligibility can change the value of the package.

- Published refund exceptions and restrictive clauses do not agree.

## Buy a defined care relationship

MEDVi provides the platform for independent prescribers, patient communication and fulfillment coordination. Its terms distinguish those roles and limit the service to specific non-emergency needs. That makes it an additional care relationship, not a replacement for comprehensive primary care. [\[1\]](https://healthspannerds.com/reviews/medvi/#reference-1) [\[4\]](https://healthspannerds.com/reviews/medvi/#reference-4)

The homepage’s peptide and longevity category is marked coming soon. A broad menu or future service description does not establish a currently available NAD+ or sermorelin program. The current weight-care purchase should be evaluated on its own.

Compare the additional care being purchased in [our health-service comparisons](https://healthspannerds.com/compare/).

For a broader care platform with separately selected prescriptions, compare [our Mochi Health review](https://healthspannerds.com/reviews/mochi/).

## Separate the introductory price from the ongoing purchase

The pricing FAQ now states $99 for the first semaglutide month and $199 for refills, including review, guidance and prescription shipment. The tablet card starts at $249 without establishing its whole recurring price. Those are distinct product descriptions, not one interchangeable minimum. [\[2\]](https://healthspannerds.com/reviews/medvi/#reference-2)

Branded listings use a $99 membership plus medication cost, despite the page’s broader no-membership-fee claim. Confirm the selected billing period, preparation, quantity and total. The terms allow the final charge to vary with medication and pharmacy, so the published minimum should not become an assumed all-in price. [\[2\]](https://healthspannerds.com/reviews/medvi/#reference-2) [\[4\]](https://healthspannerds.com/reviews/medvi/#reference-4)

Separate initial and continuing commitments in [the complete care-cost planner](https://healthspannerds.com/tools/cost-planner/).

## Conditional benefits should solve an actual gap

The advertised dietitian and coaching benefit is free only subject to insurance and copay eligibility determined at the visit. The prescription program is described as cash-pay, and affiliated medical providers are out of network under the terms. Those conditions can coexist; they do not establish insured care across the subscription. [\[1\]](https://healthspannerds.com/reviews/medvi/#reference-1) [\[2\]](https://healthspannerds.com/reviews/medvi/#reference-2) [\[4\]](https://healthspannerds.com/reviews/medvi/#reference-4)

If existing care already provides medication follow-up and nutrition support, a second portal may add little. If a particular service is missing, confirm its frequency, qualified provider and possible charge. Round-the-clock support marketing alone does not establish immediate clinical attention.

For another clinical and branded-access model, read [our LifeMD review](https://healthspannerds.com/reviews/lifemd/).

## Keep the finished medicine attached to the evidence

MEDVi identifies pharmacy partners and says compounds are not FDA approved. A partner list does not identify the actual dispenser, ingredients or supplied quantity for a selected order. Its dissolvable-tablet and branded-pill listings should also remain separate. [\[1\]](https://healthspannerds.com/reviews/medvi/#reference-1) [\[2\]](https://healthspannerds.com/reviews/medvi/#reference-2)

FDA does not review compounded medicines for safety, effectiveness and quality before marketing, and its GLP-1 guidance limits their role to needs an approved option cannot meet. A familiar ingredient or clinician approval does not transfer a branded medicine’s cardiovascular or other clinical outcomes to an unspecified compound. [\[5\]](https://healthspannerds.com/reviews/medvi/#reference-5) [\[6\]](https://healthspannerds.com/reviews/medvi/#reference-6)

Keep the trial product and outcome specific with [the SELECT cardiovascular evidence](https://healthspannerds.com/research/semaglutide-cardiovascular-select/).

## Self-reported weight change is not a longevity result

The site describes patient-reported weights collected during treatment. Its sales page presents six-month experience alongside claims that weight stayed off for good and broader language about longevity. The duration and study design do not support an indefinite-maintenance promise or an estimate of additional healthy years. [\[1\]](https://healthspannerds.com/reviews/medvi/#reference-1) [\[2\]](https://healthspannerds.com/reviews/medvi/#reference-2)

Patient totals and testimonials can indicate the scale of a service’s marketing without establishing a clinical benefit for the next patient. Choose follow-up around the actual reason for treatment and its appropriate outcomes. A story about losing weight cannot settle physical function, cardiovascular events or lifespan.

Distinguish weight from function with [the evidence on lean mass and physical function](https://healthspannerds.com/research/weight-loss-lean-mass-function/).

## Know which event ends the next bill

The cancellation policy requires a request at least 72 hours before the next billing date, through support or portal chat. Later notice means the cycle is charged and cancellation takes effect in the following cycle; services continue through the current period. Confirm the actual date rather than equating cancellation with an immediate refund. [\[3\]](https://healthspannerds.com/reviews/medvi/#reference-3)

The policy describes refunds for medical disqualification and lists additional early-unused-service and unshipped-multi-month exceptions. It also contains a broader sentence limiting refunds to medical disqualification, while the terms call received consultations non-refundable and prescription sales final. These provisions need clarification before an exception becomes part of the buying decision. [\[3\]](https://healthspannerds.com/reviews/medvi/#reference-3) [\[4\]](https://healthspannerds.com/reviews/medvi/#reference-4)

Plan continuity alongside [the evidence after GLP-1 treatment stops](https://healthspannerds.com/research/weight-regain-after-glp1/).

## Compare the additional service, not the breadth of the promise

I would compare MEDVi with LifeMD for a different clinical and branded-access model, or with MD Exam for another weight-care bundle. Use the selected ongoing payment and actual contact, rather than treating every advertised minimum as the same purchase.

MEDVi makes sense when that specific service adds value to existing care and the financial terms are clear. Its guarantee and future longevity catalogue do not supply evidence that joining improves long-term health. Keep the purchase tied to the job it can document.

For another weight-care purchase and its financial exit, compare [our MD Exam review](https://healthspannerds.com/reviews/mdexam/).

## Understanding the cost

Current semaglutide FAQ advertises $99 initially and $199 refills; selected prescription, pharmacy and supplied period remain part of the final quote. Branded options list $99 membership plus medication. Tablets from $249 do not establish a complete recurring total. Conditional dietitian charges and any additional services need separate confirmation.
