Assess Alloy’s midlife care model, $99 weight-care fee, separate medications, wider hormone catalogue, payment triggers and product-specific cancellation rules.

Midlife-focused clinical weight care

# Alloy review

I would consider Alloy for a defined midlife care need when the responsible clinician, actual treatment and continuing bill are clear. The separate care and medication prices are useful. I would keep weight management, hormone treatment and other catalogue purchases as distinct decisions, with their own evidence and financial boundaries.

## A useful next step?

Consider the purpose, the care relationship and the full commitment.

## A reason to consider it

A reader who values a defined clinical relationship and keeps treatment-specific decisions separate.

- Weight-care support and medication costs are separately described.

- The wider catalogue identifies distinct treatment categories.

- Public support pages explain different prescription payment and cancellation pathways.

## What deserves scrutiny

A buyer expecting one membership to establish every medicine’s suitability, cost or healthspan benefit.

- The catalogue does not establish a combined healthspan outcome.

- Payment and refill responsibilities differ by treatment.

- Membership charges are nonrefundable and medication may involve a separate supplier.

## Midlife is a care context, not one treatment goal

Alloy positions its weight-care service around midlife and describes ongoing physician contact, messaging and treatment management. Its wider catalogue includes hormone therapy, skin treatments, sexual and gut health products, and hair care. Those categories create different clinical questions rather than one automatic prescription package. [\[1\]](https://healthspannerds.com/reviews/alloy/#reference-1) [\[8\]](https://healthspannerds.com/reviews/alloy/#reference-8)

I would identify the actual reason for seeking care before comparing the menu. A service can make access more convenient without having established that combining its products extends healthspan. The relevant outcome and evidence should remain attached to each proposed treatment.

For another broad women-focused care menu, compare [our Wisp review](https://healthspannerds.com/reviews/wisp/).

## The weight-care bill has two visible parts

The regular weight-care subscription is $99 monthly, with medicine additional. The current compounded semaglutide card starts at $70 monthly; other compounds and branded medicines have separate starting prices. The new-customer promotion discounts the first care month, not the entire treatment purchase. [\[1\]](https://healthspannerds.com/reviews/alloy/#reference-1)

The support article confirms that the membership buys continuing provider guidance, follow-up and messaging rather than medication. I would obtain the selected preparation, supplied amount and normal recurring total before assigning value to a cheaper starting card. [\[2\]](https://healthspannerds.com/reviews/alloy/#reference-2)

Separate care and medication payments in [the cost planner](https://healthspannerds.com/tools/cost-planner/).

## The catalogue should not blur the evidence

Alloy’s weight page distinguishes its branded products from personalized compounds and says compounded drugs are not FDA reviewed for safety, effectiveness or quality. Its marketing percentages do not establish that every reader will achieve the same result or that a specific compound reproduces a branded medicine’s outcomes. [\[1\]](https://healthspannerds.com/reviews/alloy/#reference-1)

Hormone and topical products also need their own assessment. The catalogue’s ingredient and supply descriptions are not evidence that those purchases add a general longevity benefit to weight care. I would keep treatment purpose and clinical follow-up separate from a broad healthy-aging interpretation. [\[8\]](https://healthspannerds.com/reviews/alloy/#reference-8)

Compare a different treatment catalogue in [our AgelessRx review](https://healthspannerds.com/reviews/agelessrx/).

## Payment approval differs between care pathways

The official after-sign-up article says weight-care prescriptions are auto-charged once prescribed after consultation. It separately says HRT prescriptions await review, approval and payment authorisation before shipping. A reader considering more than one category should not assume the same financial sequence applies to both. [\[6\]](https://healthspannerds.com/reviews/alloy/#reference-6)

Weight-care insurance guidance describes consultations, medication and membership as self-pay. Location also matters: the public availability guidance distinguishes Wegovy and Zepbound from compounded GLP-1s. Confirm the exact product and permitted pathway instead of relying on the broader catalogue. For another prescription and pharmacy model, read [our Push Health review](https://healthspannerds.com/reviews/push-health/).

## A continuing relationship needs an understood exit

The October 19 terms distinguish Alloy’s platform role from medical care through independent practitioners. They require seven days’ notice for membership cancellation and five business days before the next product shipment processes to stop or pause it. Those are different boundaries, worth recording before a renewal approaches. [\[7\]](https://healthspannerds.com/reviews/alloy/#reference-7)

The weight-care support article adds a second step for Wegovy and Zepbound: stopping the manufacturer refill pathway separately from the care membership. Terms make service fees nonrefundable, exclude manufacturer-direct medicine from Alloy refunds and limit eligible product refunds to a first shipment. I would not treat that as a general guarantee of recovering money after stopping care. ## My assessment would stay with the defined service

Alloy can be a useful comparison for someone seeking its midlife-focused clinical model. I would judge the particular care relationship and treatment agreement, then compare a second service on the same scope and paid period. The number of products available is not the reason to proceed.

Keep ordinary preventive care and appropriate follow-up visible alongside the purchase. If more than one treatment is considered, clarify the separate prescribing, payment and refill responsibilities. A coherent care plan is more useful than assigning a combined healthspan effect to a brand’s catalogue.

## Understanding the cost

Weight Care is $99/month plus medication. Current drug starting cards include compounded semaglutide $70, tirzepatide $100 and liraglutide $115 per month; branded products have different starting prices. A $50 first-month care promotion is for new customers and excludes medication. Confirm the selected drug, supplied amount, ongoing charge and eligibility; no complete treatment bill is established by a starting card. Weight prescriptions are described as auto-charged once prescribed. Membership cancellation and medication refills may need separate action. [\[1\]](https://healthspannerds.com/reviews/alloy/#reference-1) [\[2\]](https://healthspannerds.com/reviews/alloy/#reference-2) [\[3\]](https://healthspannerds.com/reviews/alloy/#reference-3) [\[6\]](https://healthspannerds.com/reviews/alloy/#reference-6) Hormone, skin and other catalogue offers have their own supply and payment arrangements; the weight-care membership should not be assumed to include them.
